A Monument of Faith

The Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Prishtina, Kosovo. In 2007, the Government of Kosovo approved plans for the building. The cathedral is dedicated to the Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary, Saint Mother Teresa.

Construction began in 2007 and it was formally inaugurated on September 5, 2017, the 20th anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa. It stands as one of the tallest buildings in Prishtina and a symbol of religious harmony in the region.

Saint Mother Teresa

Born Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Mother Teresa spent most of her life in India, where she founded the Missionaries of Charity. Her life was a testament to selfless service and love for the "poorest of the poor."
